One day late but I’m really trying to stick to my font recommendation resolution.

I’ve been on a bit of a distressed font downloading kick lately and Old Press by Galdino Otten is one of my favorite specimens. The lettering is great and the erosion looks really natural. Great choice if you have any grungy designs brewing.

I haven’t been doing a very good job of keeping up with my font recommendations. So let’s try this again and see if I can manage to get a post up every Sunday.

To kick things off, here’s Barbarello by Su Lucas. It’s an awesome barbed wire style font with all the symbols and everything.

I like this font. It reminds me of the food graphics they use at Shake Shack. Plus, it comes with full symbols. I can’t find a website for designer Martín Argüello but you can…

How did I only just find out about Tack-O-Rama? All that time I could’ve been wasting browsing through vintage clipart.

So, since Tack-O-Rama has a section for steampunk fonts and Fringe was awesome tonight, my font suggestion is Xeppelin by Iconian Fonts.

Another font recommendation. Scribble Box by KC Fonts. It’s hand drawn with awesome shading. The free version includes capital letters only but additional characters are available.

I’ve been so busy with my own fonts lately that I haven’t had made any recommendations. So, to rectify that oversight, allow me to draw your attention to Problematic Piercer by Vinterstille. It has a cool futuristic, sci-fi feel.

I’ve wanted to do a leafy, viney kind of font but never manage to get around to it. Luckily, there are great fonts available already like Leafy by West Wind Fonts. It even comes with an awesome shaded version.
