This book is from 1959. Do you recognize the title typeface?
The Jurassic Park title font, Neuland, was originally created in 1923. There are examples of it going back to the silent film era. It actually predates the venerable and ancient Times New Roman by several years! (Times New Roman was created by the London Times in 1931.)
